Leigh Youd was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1987. He holds a B.A. degree with very high distinction (1982) and LLB degree (1985), both from the University of Toronto. One of the firm's founding members, Mr. Youd is a partner at Berkow, Cohen LLP.

Since his call to the Bar, he has practiced all facets of commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis in the areas of real estate litigation, construction, professional insurance and shareholder's disputes.

Mr. Youd is an accomplished advocate with a number of reported decisions both at the Trial and Appellate levels. Mr. Youd is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Advocates Society.
